INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS

| More

AFRIM’s internship (practicum) program links with universities in Mindanao for fielding of college students taking up Social Sciences and other allied courses. The internship provides students valuable exposure to the organization’s advocacy areas such as asset reform and rural development, natural resources management, peacebuilding, information, and education services, and sustainable livelihoods and agriculture. Interns with the Alternate Resource Center will learn databanking and library systems utilized by non-government organizations such as AFRIM. The databank monitors socio-economic trends and policies that impact the different sectors in Mindanao, allowing the intern to gain relevant understanding of issues important to Mindanao’s development.
